Itunes album art error (-50)?

All the album art was messed up on my new 80gb ipod classic. So i decided to delete all album art and then reload it. When i said apply for show album art it puts about a 1/100 of the artwork and then says error (-50) and i dont know how to fix this. Now instead of having the wrong album art for songs i have like no album art. If you know how to fix this that would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Itunes album art error (-50)?
This issue is in iTunes and not just the iPod, right? That's how I read it: I hope that's right.

That error code applies to downloaded video from the iTunes store (see link below). Are you trying to get the artwork from the iTunes Store - by right-clicking the song and selecting "Get Artwork?" If you are, try this instead:

Find the album cover on the web - I usually use Wikipedia, but you can also just search for the album name on Yahoo Pictures - and download it to your desktop. Go back into iTunes and click on the first song of the album, then hold shift and click the last song of the album. That will highlight the whole album.

Now right click on the highlighted section and select "Get Info." You will get a message that says something like "you are about to change info for multiple songs," click okay and it takes you to the change info section.

On the lower right part of that window, you will see a box: that's for artwork. Drag the image you downloaded from the desktop into that box and it will be applied to every track on the album. After to drag it into iTunes, you can delete it off your desktop.

That should work. Your problem sound like it's with our connection to the iTunes Store.

I hope that helps!
