Abstract art what is it really?

My name is Ana and I have been told that my art is absract .I have seen some of the responses of a lot of people here and. I would like to ansewer any qestions. I am feeling like my art is unmeaning but I can say that . it has life death,love,hope,and most of all respect, for all. I can draw an image that I see like a copy. That is easy but absract comes from the hidden realaty of your inner talants that were made for your viewing only. for your self pertection, or healing and have been brought out by some one needing to show the world your gineuss. fake absract is color .simply becuse the mind dose not think in color. and real absract come from the unconsies meind you pick up a pin and just draw you never know what it is untile you are done.then you see your friend,lover,pet,in your drawings. not money making bull crap. I for one can not sell my art It is my journal of

Abstract art what is it really?
I think abstract is a projection of the soul; always flowing like water. it's something that can be done by most people but it's still unique. that's what i think.
Reply:abstract art does not have to make sense. its a combination of feelings and expression without needing to put it into a complete picture or thought. its not unmeaningful, only you know what it means. its just not meant to be understood but just to be admired for what it is.
Reply:Abstract art is what you make it. The very idea of something being abstract is to break it free from the bondage of having to adhere to physical laws. Abstract art is what's left over after we have painted too many portraits and still life scenes, but our minds are thinking of bigger and better things.
Reply:abstract art is a way to show something without having copied the real things in the real world. like when you want to show a car but you just paint a few shapes of different color to represent it. well, something like that.
