I have an interview tomorrow for "new school for the arts" in tempe, AZ. It's a charter high school, where the focus is on the arts....and you can decide what kind of art courses to take, i chose the performing arts [theater] and visual arts. There is only about 300 students, and school is from 8am-4pm mon-friday.
Anyways, i dont know much else about this school, including dress code. My mom wants me to wear a skirt [yuck] but i think i should just wear a pair of jeans and a nice shirt. what sounds more appropriate?
I was also asked to bring in some of my art work to show in my interview, how many pieces do you think i should bring? I am def bringing a big painting of tom welling [that won an award], an oil pastel tiger, and a chalk pastel Andy Warhol style of madonna. but should i bring some sketches as well?
Also, since i am doing the theater course as well, do you think they are going to have me do a monologue or something? because i am NOT prepared for that one....
thanks!
Art charter school?
