Art???????????????????????????...
I personally think black is a great background color

simply because any bright color you put on top if it

is really going to stand out.

Perhaps you could recreate a line

of music notation from a piece of music

you like and draw the notes in color (bright colors)

on your black background. Not the whole song

but one or two bars.

It might look good.....
Reply:well, since in it is one color, and black is somewhat of a bland color. You may want to start with a monotonuos beat. You can build from there if you want. But if your background scene is black you don't want to use anything to lively, because to outsiders it won't make any sense. This is because are a society we are thought that black is dull and boring.

I am not saying to keep the shape pace or beat, but be very wary of the sounds you use. Maybe somethign soft that represents a moonless night. Remember black looks as though it lacks color, form; and it contains no refracted light so you may want to use lithless beats combined with the sounds of the night. Also to bring interest into the image make the screen be in motion; that way the eye is given the impression that the scene is changing, hightening interest.
Reply:art is like science to me
