Art coloring?
The first one is a photomanipulation or plain photo, I'm pretty sure. They probably used photoshop to edit and add stuff to it.

The second might just be markers, but it might be something like Paint Shop, or Photoshop again. I think it's probably not markers, actually, since it's in the "digital art" catagory. It's just a colour, like in paint, but the software they've used has the option to change the opacity. That's all they've done - coloured, like in MS Paint, just with a lower opacity and some layering of colours.
Reply:it is probably photoshop.

you can do anything on photoshop haha

there are a bunch of tutorials online and youtube and stuff.

i'm sure you could find something.
Reply:Well it can be edited on adobe photoshop or just an original picture. He used a SLR Canon camera so why its so perfect (the icy pix).
Reply:I went and took a look at the art you linked to. The first image of the frosty forest appears to have been an regular photo that was enhanced with the air brush tool in photoshop, along with a couple other image manipulation tools from the same photo editing software. The second image of the cat was hand rendered. But there are a thousand painting and image rendering software applications out there that could have done this job....!
Reply:You can take photo's of anything and get them transferred on to huge artists canvases. Babies and pets are the latest thing that people are getting done.

That is a breath- takingly beautiful scene though, and as an artist myself, i especially love snow scenes in particular.

Thanks for that.

Reply:Why not contact the artists and ask them? Looks like something photoshop could do, though.
