Difference between these art majors?

I was on this college search site, and when i was specifying my major i got confused, because there seemed to be quite a few that i wasn't sure what the difference was. the ones i found were:

Fine arts and art studies

fine/studio arts, general

art - general

arts - general

art/art studies, general

i have no idea what's the difference. can you tell me, and explain what each one is?

Difference between these art majors?
Fine arts and art studies- this category could mean music, dance, drama, and visual art

fine/studio arts, general-This category means that you are studying painting, sculpture, media arts like photography and video, fiber arts like weaving, and ceramics

art - general, arts-general- This could be a overarching class that introduces art to the non major or a class that is for one of the arts disciplines.

This could also be a class aimed specifically at the performing arts-instrument playing, singing, dancing, choreography, drama and the supporting crafts for these like costuming and directing, and lighting.

art/art studies, general... This could be for people who want to be more scholarly like curators, critics, art historians, or the same like playwrights, cultural historians.

The specific details of each of the classes would make it more clear toward which of the various arts majors these classes would pertain to.
Reply:It's all the same thing. Fine arts is Fine arts whether you are drawing, painting, video, installation, photography, or performance, and etc. Studio is studio and all of the above are studio based disciplines where you need to practice your art. General means general. You might decide to go to an art school. Check out The California College of Art, The San Francisco Art Institute, or The Art Institute of Chicago for more details. The problem is state schools are not specializing in fine arts, you need to find a school that does.
