Art costume idea?

i have to go to an "art party" and i have to go as either a peice of art, art movement, art object, art supplies or an artist. i have thought of quite a few ideas but i dont LOVE any of them. i'm looking for something really creative please help!

i think you should go as the painting 'scream' by Edvard Munch. look it up on google, im sure you have seen it before. you could wear a black outfit and wear a wierd mask or something.
Reply:Wrap yourself in a white sheet %26amp; go as a canvas. It's the cheapest %26amp; easiest way to go.....
Reply:take some super glue smear it all over your head stick a cone on it and go fly yourself to the moon
Reply:Get some contact paper (a sort of adhesive coated plastic actually) and some large sheets of low quality paper and use the contact paper on the inside to give the costume strength.





Then get stickers, lots of stickers and stickyback printer paper.


Print a bunch of full page images on the stickyback paper, mostly in black and white or sepiatone.





Now you wear your paper suit and carry the printed stickerpaper, scissors, stickers and maybe some markers in a bag or something and invite people to cut up the stickers and stuff and stick them to you.

If you want something more labor intensive and skilled try a recreation of any of Matthew Barney's outlandish costumes from the Cremaster series of surrealist movies.

or u can go as an abstarct painting


u can also combine material to create a very interesting outfit or maybe small objects of the same kind and put them together to come up with something wierd,,, using paper clips for example or bottle caps


u can do many many things also be creative with make up and hair

I would make a giant puzzle piece costume, or even a tetris block costume. that would be amazing. you could also be mona lisa if you're a girl ^_^ but i bet everyone thought of that...
